CanDo is configured into a Debian "package" so that it can be easily downloaded and installed from the internet.  Most users should install CanDo this way.  The package is periodically updated with bug fixes that also can be easily downloaded by users.

There also is another way in installing CanDo that is only for the technically inclined, such as computer programmers.  This method uses a program called subversion, and allows users to see and test bug fixes as the program developers post them.
